Spirit of Hven Stella Nova Barrel Aged Gin undergoes aging in various barrels using a solera style system. According to Preiss Imports, it comprises five separately aged gins blended at specific percentages: 6.5% aged 10 years in charred virgin Chinkapin Oak casks, 7.3% aged 8 years in toasted virgin Sessile Oak casks, 8.8% aged 3 years in Chinkapin Oak casks (previously containing non-peated Spirit of Hven Single Malt Whisky), 8.8% aged 3 years in Chinkapin Oak casks (previously containing peated Spirit of Hven Single Malt Whisky) and 68.8% aged 6 months in Chinkapin Oak casks (previously holding Spirit of Hven Organic Vodka).
