Spirit of Hven Navy Strength Organic Gin is produced in Sweden. Made from a wheat base spirit, the botanicals undergo one-day maceration before distillation in a copper pot still. After resting in oak, the gin is distilled again. Bottled at 57.1% ABV, it features juniper, lavender, chamomile and elderflower.
The flavor profile is curious, but ultimately neither very gin like nor well balanced to commend unabashed recommendation to either contemporary or classic gin fans.
