House Review
Nose:
Rich on the nose, root beer, tootsie roll candies, brown sugar, faint tobacco, pepper and some cocoa. Sweet and savory.
Taste:
Moderate mouthfeel. Proof is sneaky and hiding. Heavy on the cocoa, toffee, some milk chocolate light oak and a dash of pepper.
Finish:
Finish is moderate - pleasant and complex. It's unusually cocoa forward but in a pleasant way. Nice stuff going on here. Light on the oak but heavy on the dessert.
Overall:
I like this. It's not brash or powerful, but there's some fun character here and it's easy to enjoy.
