Bold, funky, toffee. Sweet and complex, there's tons of nutty funk, oak, toffee and a good deal of caramel and tannin.
Creamy on the palate, rich and viscous. A good deal of caramel. graham cracker, pepper and oak. Hefty ethanol presence on this one, although its matched with plenty of flavor and character. Touch of cinnamon.
Long finish, sweet and oaky, drier than recent batches. Peanut brittle, cocoa, a touch of ginger, ethanol and caramel.
Overall, this is a killer pour that leans a touch more into oak and bold character compared to 2022-01. For fans of Booker's who wish recent batches were a little more tannic and dry to offset the bold caramels and dessert notes, you'll be pleased.
