Sanloco Mezcal Espadín is a joven mezcal made by maestro mezcalero Rodolfo Juan Juárez in San Juan del Río, Oaxaca. The espadín agave is cooked in an earthen oven with oak, shredded mechanically, fermented naturally with river water and double distilled in copper stills. It is bottled at 40% ABV and sells for around $46 to $50.
