Rolling Fork Amburana Odyssey is a small-batch rum distilled at Foursquare Distillery in Saint Philip, Barbados and bottled by Indiana-based independent bottler Rolling Fork Spirits. The rum is a blend of 9- and 11-year-old Foursquare casks aged six months in Brazilian Amburana oak, then further matured in low-char bourbon and rye whiskey casks at Starlight Distillery in Borden, Indiana. It is bottled at cask strength (60.3% ABV) with no additives or chill filtration, and retails for approximately $80.

  • The coconut and spice notes kick things off on the palate but take a slight left turn as the underlying wood comes into clearer focus. A blend of fresh lumberyard and furniture polish kick things off — in only slightly jarring fashion — before a bold fruit element comes into play.
