Whiskey Acres Straight Bourbon is produced at Whiskey Acres Distilling Co., an estate distillery on a fifth-generation family farm in DeKalb, Illinois. Made from a wheated mash bill of 75% corn, 15% soft red winter wheat and 10% malted barley, all of the grains are grown on the same farm where the bourbon is distilled and bottled. It carries no age statement and is bottled at 87 proof (43.5% ABV). It typically retails for around $45.

  • The palate opens fruity, turns nutty and turns spicy on the backend, but never really loses touch with any single part of the flavor profile and sustains a current of vanilla throughout.
