Ron Zacapa Centenario Ambar 12 is a Guatemalan aged rum produced by Industrias Licoreras de Guatemala and distributed by Diageo. It is a solera-method blend of rums aged 4 to 12 years in ex-American whiskey and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks, matured at an altitude of 2,300 meters in the Guatemalan highlands. It is bottled at 40% ABV and retails for around $40.

- The rum has a light mouthfeel with flavours of butterscotch and vanilla mingling with wood spices. Orange peel, almond and cinnamon round out the initial flavour impressions which are a firm reflection of the nose.
