Calvados Cask Finished Straight Bourbon Whiskey is a distillery-exclusive release produced from a mash bill of 70% white corn, 25% rye and 5% malted barley. The bourbon is finished in Calvados casks before being bottled at 53% ABV (106 proof). Available only at the distillery in 750 mL bottles, the brand describes the whiskey as having aromas of rich wood, currant, cinnamon, candied ginger and mulled cider, with flavors of red fruit jam, apple crisp, leather and roasted cardamom, followed by a finish of amaro-like bitterness, grape skins, maraschino cherries, soft oak tannins and baking spices.
