Mal Bien Zacate Limón is a mezcal produced by the Morales family in San Dionisio Ocotepec, Oaxaca. Originally created by maestro mezcalero Lucio Morales López as a gift for his wife, Agustina, the spirit is now made by his son Oscar using traditional production methods with a distinctive lemongrass infusion. Fresh lemongrass is added to the stills during the second distillation, with additional lemongrass later macerated in the finished mezcal for added herbal and citrus character.
