  • The drink itself has an orangey aroma and a mix of citrus flavours, along with ginseng, juniper and lemongrass. It’s won a couple of awards but has had mixed reviews. We’re sorry to say that our taste-testers didn’t like it very much. The promised bold flavours just weren’t bold enough for them. But, as always, you’ll have to make your own mind up.

  • There’s the bitterness of zest, the sweet roundness of orange juice, a sharp tang of grapefruit or perhaps kumquats and an underlying darker aromatic note which perhaps is the ginseng. I love this … it has the strong hit of a curacao or triple sec which marries perfectly with tonic, and it’s refreshing to find something intensely citrus that isn’t too sweet.
