Courvoisier VSOP Triple Oak Artisan Edition is a cognac from the Courvoisier distillery in Jarnac, France. This offering is a blend of mainly Fins Bois, Petite Champagne and Old Borderies eaux-de-vie, named "triple oak" because the cognacs are aged first in virgin oak barrels. According to the brand, it undergoes initial maturation in new French oak for extra spiciness, then into traditional Limousin oak casks to add aromatics, before being finished in old oak vats. It is bottled at 40% ABV and sells for around $50.
