Bacardí 151, an overproof rum at 75.5% ABV, was discontinued in 2016 due to its highly flammable nature. The rum had previously been sold with a metal flame protector in the lid, but safety concerns ultimately led the company to retire it.
This isn’t a drink every other night kind of booze, but it does have a strange appeal. From a utilitarian view it does exactly what you think it should, it gives you a strong buzz will a low investment and has a taste that, despite the pain, will have you coming back for more.
