This nocino is a traditional Italian walnut liqueur made by Il Mallo, a family producer specializing in Nocino for generations. Green walnuts picked on June 24, St. John’s Day, are steeped in neutral grain alcohol for 11 months, then pressed and aged in stainless steel for 18 months. Sugar, cinnamon, clove and coriander seeds are added one month before bottling.
