Hacienda de Chihuahua Sotol Añejo is produced in Chihuahua, Mexico, by Vinomex under master distiller José Daumas Gil de Partearroyo. Made from 100% wild-harvested dasylirion plants averaging 15 years of age, the plants are steam-cooked, fermented with champagne yeast and triple distilled in a copper double-column still. The spirit is then aged 2 years in new French white oak barrels and bottled at 38% ABV.

  • On the palate there is a grassiness which strangely resembles that of rhum agricole, more soil, vanilla and parsley. A peculiar spirit and a must try for any agave spirits geek!
